The Council of the World Parliament of the Religions (CWPR)
In earlier articles we wrote about 'the universal church', an United Religions Initiative by the UN to organize a new world church of all the religions. But there is also an organisation we didnot tell you about that needs to be exposed: 'the World Parliament of the Religions'.
We want to inform you about this 'parliament's' vision, mission, goals and means. Of course we also want you to know who the 'members' of this parliament are; when you are a true Christian you may be very supprised...
What the Bible says about 'interfaith' or 'interreligious dialogue or coöperation'?
2 Cor. 6:13-18 - No fellowship with unbelievers or idolaters; seperate yourself from them!
'Now as a recompense for this (I speak as unto my children), be ye also enlarged. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God. As God hath said: "I will dwell in them and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."
Therefore, "Come out from among them, and be ye separate," saith the Lord. "And touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters," saith the Lord Almighty. '.
1 Cor. 10:21 - You cannot serve two lords at the same time
'Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of devils; ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table and of the table of devils'.
So the Bible is very clear on this issue: God forbids 'interfaith' or 'interreligious organisation'. The Bible says 'come out of them and be seperated from them'.
In short: no acceptation of-, respect for- or participation with pagan religions and certainly not a common 'global theology' or 'ethics'. God, Gods Law, Gods Son and the Spirit of GOD are our common foundations.
The world & the Worldparliament of the religions
No Christian can participate in this organisation, because God doesnot allow us to do so; this is what the Bible tells us. Still there are always organisations or persons that appear to be 'christian' that try to promote the interreligious cause and to put it on the political calendar...
People like Nelson Mandela, Balkenende, Blair, Bush, World Council of Churches, etc. Their actions, statements, ways and directions clearly show that they are not serving Christ!
The interreligious lobby is trying to stimulate to have gatherings of different religions; for unification- and efficiency purposes... but also for 'mutual understanding and peace'. Would trying to understand- or showing sympathy for 'idolatry' lead to a peaceful world? The Bible foretells something quite different: war, violence, hate, diseases, etc.
The Worldparliament of the religions
The parliament was established in 1893; Eastern and Western monks of 'spiritual traditions' met in Chicago USA. In 1988 two monks of the Ramakrishna-movement in Chicago proposed an 100-year-anniversary and so it was carried out in 1993.
Global ethics for all religions
At this 'anniversary' it was decided, that Global ethics for all religions had to be made. Common values for all religious people. And as a result we now have 'Global Theology'. Of course 'Global Theology' is something quite different than just 'values'...because 'Theology' refers to 'Theos'; god...
Kung's 'ethics' [presented as theology] will lead to respect, economical equality, solidarity, tolerance, equal rights etc. as we can read in their 'initial declaration' above...but...
- what has 'economy' to do with 'justice', 'equal right' or 'tolerance'...?
- what is 'justice' and for whom?
- isn't it so, that economy conflicts with 'justice' because money, profits, prestige and power are involved?
- isn't so, that several religions are causing injustice and intolerance and discrimination and violence and terrorisme...?!
When we examine the several pagan religions as Buddhism, Islam, B'hai, Wicca, Hinduism etc. we cannot miss the worldly fruit; terrorism, violence, intolerance, repression and abuse of women, etc. This worldly fruit causes wars, famine, starvation, diseases and grieve for all around the world.
In short: every sane human being will say: 'we are not going to make common values or rules, because this would be very self-distructive and stupid indeed!'.
Peace, harmony and justice between religions that are all about hatred, discrimination, war, terrorism and repression?!
Trying to reach a consensus with religions that are all about violence, hatred, terrorisme and injustice?!
WPR in 2004
In July-2004 the parliament will meet and gather in Barcelona-Spain. It will be 'a colerful gathering of several pagan religions and 'spiritual traditions'. Just like their gathering in 1999 in the USA. Amongs the visitors: satanists, witches and wizards, B'hai, Catholics, Hindus, Buddhists, etc. And of course: their great leaders will also visit this gathering. In juli 2004 komt het Wereld-Parlement van de Religies samen in Barcelona. Het zal weer een zeer kleurrijke bijeenkomst worden van diverse afgodische- en spiritistische tradities. Net als in 1999, hoewel een artikel vertelt, dat heksen niet meer welkom zullen zijn. Maar natuurlijk wél de satanisten, b'hai, en andere religies van de wereld. En vele grote leiders zullen erbij zijn.
The devil and his aids against the children of God...
The pagan religions that worship spirits/demons are gathering themselves. But Christians are not to participate our Bible says. The fruit of idolatry is exactly what we can see in the world today: hatred, egoism, repression, intolerance and jealousy resulting in violence, wars, terrorism, which leads to even more hatred, egoism, repression and intolerance.... And we know now, that even the World Council of Churches and the Roman Catholic Church and other 'great leaders' are participating and thus causing this fruit...
The Bible doesnot tell us about 'a peaceful and just Earth in harmony'. The Bibel tells about how almost all people will despise Gods Commandments and that -as a consequence- wars, famine, hate, diseases will be the sad future...
Christians are called by God not the sin against Gods Law, but to fulfill what the Law requires with the Spirit of God. Christians that do so willnot grow up in sin, but in the Fruit of the Spirit leading to Truth, Justice and Love.
Idolatry or sympathy for or unifying religions or merging 'theology' is opposed to Gods Wil. Acting against Gods Wil would make us growing in sin, because that is what comitting a sin is all about!
People that grow in sin cannot live forever in Gods presence...but they will die an eternal death instead...
